Using Meetups to Foster Local Language Communities
Teachers of less commonly taught languages often face the challenge of having few colleagues with whom to collaborate on a regular basis. This session will discuss how Meetup.com has been used to organize a Baltimore language group for Latin speakers. We will cover the nuts and bolts of the Meetup website, as well as general community building suggestions.
